- Introduction to properties and organization of traffic systems. Basic concepts of traffic systems.
- Traffic characteristics and measurements.
- Fundamental relationships between the basic traffic dimensions (traffic flow, density, speed).
- Traffic capacity of sections of the road network.
- Special traffic studies (pedestrian studies, parking, accident studies).
- Traffic signalisation (features, conditions, regulation, control, evaluation).
- Introduction to autonomous traffic systems.
